What surfaces can be coated with Liquid Vinyl?

Liquid Vinyl can be used on almost any paintable surface. It will works over wood, stucco, cement, brick, block, OSB and other composite sidings, T1-11, stone, cement fiberboard including Hardie-Plank®, vinyl siding panels, aluminum siding, masonry, galvanized steel siding as well as many other surfaces.

How can I sample Liquid Vinyl coating before ordering?

Yes!  Sample kits are available to try out the coating. Enough Liquid Vinyl is in the kit to cover a 4ft X 5ft area (20 sq. ft.).   Order LVS SAMPLE

Can I coat over regular vinyl siding?

Liquid Vinyl Siding is the ideal coating to renew old faded vinyl and make it look new again. Be sure to use a 'VINYL‑SAFE COLOR' when coating vinyl siding panels. Vinyl siding manufacturers generally recommend using a color that is not much darker in shade than the original color.

Is Liquid Vinyl difficult to apply?

No, not at all. Liquid Vinyl is as easy to apply as regular paint! The only difference is that it is much thicker. It is rich and creamy and goes on smoothly with a brush, roller or airless sprayer; the application method will not affect performance.

What special equipment is needed to apply?

Liquid Vinyl is applied just like paint - NO SPECIAL EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED! Liquis Vinyl is very thick so a large tip must be used when spraying. Recommended tip size is .521. Make sure the spay unit supports a minimum tip size of .021. Sprayer specifications should list its tip support. The use of a moisture meter is recommended to make sure the moisture content is low enough.

Does old paint need to be stripped off before coating?

Most of the time NO, existing paint can be coated over if the underlying layers are sound. Paint that is loose, cracking or peeling needs to be scraped or sanded until down to a stable layer. Standard painting principals apply.

Can I coat deck boards with Liquid Vinyl Siding?

We do not recommend it. Liquid Vinyl Siding was not meant to be used over flat horizontal surfaces or surfaces that may become submerged in water. It can however be used on the railing, risers, bands, seats, etc.

How long can the coating be stored?

The shelf life of Liquid Vinyl Siding products is over five years. Placing the unused coating into the smallest, air-tight container possible will extend the shelf life.

How do I order?

Dealers and distributors typically will only sell the coating installed and will not sell the products to the public. Liquid Vinyl Siding products can be order directly from the manufacturer. Products normally ship within 24 hours after payment is is received and a tracking number is provided.

How can someone become a LVS dealer?

We are always searching for reputable individuals and companies to represent our product in areas that are not being serviced by an authorized dealer. Prior business or marketing experience is helpful but not necessary, we can provide training.
