Choosing the Perfect Color
We feel it's important to have an unlimited selection of colors to pick from. Companies that sell paint already colorized must guess which colors are popular and then stock each color. It is risky trying to determine which colors will sell and which will just sit on the shelf. Stocking predetermined colors limits the color selection to what's practical for the store and adds to its cost. With the exception of white, Liquid Vinyl purchased manufacturer direct is not colorized. It will need to be taken to a local paint store, home center or hardware store to add colorant and tint it into your color choice. Having it tinted locally enables you to choose literally 'ANY COLOR'.

We manufacture Liquid Vinyl Siding in four tintable bases. The tint strength is tested for universal colorant making it compatible with all water base color systems. It can be tinted into any color using standard paint color formulas. If you have a specific color in mind, Liquid Vinyl Siding can be custom color matched. Most paint stores can generate a color formula from a small sample. When tinting the coating locally minor color adjustments can be made on the spot if necessary so that you get the exact color and shade you desire.
Where can I find colors to choose from?
Just pick a color from ANY color chart or fan deck; there is no limitation to your color choice.
Sheen
Liquid Vinyl Siding has the appearance of a high-end satin paint. Regular paint contains a component that can increase or decrease its sheen from flat to high gloss. The chemical composition of Liquid Vinyl Siding™ is entirely different. Made out of vinyl resins, it does not contain compounds that can alter sheen. It is only possible to manufactured Liquid Vinyl Siding in a satin-like sheen.
Which Liquid Vinyl base do I need?
Liquid Vinyl Siding is colorized by adding colorant pigment, just like paint. The colorant must
be added to the correct base to achieve the desired color. The formula for the color will indicate which base is
needed. Your color selection should be made before placing an order so that we can ship the appropriate base for
the color being used. If unsure which base is required your local paint store can advise you or you can speak with
one of our friendly representatives at our HELP DESK 1-888-409-2023 (option 2).
We have posted the formulas for the
millennium color chart as a reference to help identify the tint base needed. Click on a color to
expand and note the code next to the color name. The code consists of four numbers followed by a letter - the letter
at the end of the code is the base required; white ('W'), medium ('M'), deep ('D') or neutral
('N'). For example, the code for White Lilac is 7000W. The 'W' means this color calls for white Liquid Vinyl Siding
base whereas Candy Violet, 7004M, requires medium Liquid Vinyl Siding base.
